This school year, a group of Yuying students each collected ten honor certificates — for their effort in learning, character, and service. The school marked it with an afternoon tea alongside the principal and the parents' association chair.

The parents' association ran a two-day, one-night camp for grades 5 and 6 — pitching tents, outdoor living, an evening party for the whole school family, and field games built around teamwork.
