Four Yuying students in grades 4 and 5 took part in the 2025 World GreenMech Contest, Changhua County round — the advanced group of the Green Mech integration event. It was the first time they had ever entered as a team, and they came away with third place in the elementary division.
本校四位四、五年級的小朋友參加 2025 世界機關王競賽彰化縣賽（Green Mech 機關整合賽・進階組），榮獲國小組第三名。這四位同學是第一次組隊參賽，初試啼聲即獲佳績。
A GreenMech machine is a chain reaction: one part sets off the next, and the next, until the whole mechanism runs from start to finish. Getting there takes patient testing, clear teamwork, and a lot of trying again.
機關王的作品是一連串的連鎖反應：一個機關啟動下一個、再下一個，直到整組機關從頭到尾順利運轉。要做到這一步，需要耐心測試、清楚分工，以及一次又一次重來的勇氣。
Thank you to Teacher Huang Wan-Chi for guiding the team, to the principal for backing them, to the parents for the rides and the encouragement, and to Director Lin of the Office of Academic Affairs for leading the team and keeping the training going. Through a contest like this, we hope every child's many talents get the chance to shine.
