Where the rice fields of Erlin learn to drum, read, and dream — in two languages.

Chung Hsing Elementary became an independent school in 1956, on land once borrowed from a sugar-factory cane field in Erlin Township, Changhua. Its name — "Chung Hsing," meaning revival and flourishing — was chosen when two neighbouring villages set aside their rivalry to build one school together.

Today it is a warm country campus wrapped in green: a wide running track, a rainbow playground, and century-old heritage trees. Here children learn through the Taiko drum club, Cool English self-learning, hands-on food & farming, and reading — small classes, big care.

中興國小於 民國 45 年（1956）獨立設校，校地最初借自二林溪湖糖廠的甘蔗田。「中興」之名，是當年兩個村莊放下校名之爭、合力建校的共識——取「振興、興盛」之意。如今這是一所被綠意環抱的鄉間校園：寬闊操場、彩虹遊戲場與百年經典樹。孩子在太鼓社團、Cool English 自主學習、食農教育與閱讀中成長——班級雖小，照顧滿滿。
