"Everything has changed except the playground." A graduate's words moved Principal Chen to act. As Chung Hsing nears its 70th year, the school signed a three-year agreement with the Taiwan Beautiful Tree Association to care for its camphor and chinaberry "heritage trees" — a roofless nature class where children watched climbers prune the old trees with gentle, professional hands.

「除了操場，其餘都變了……」校友的一句話，讓陳世杰校長思考如何為孩子留下綠色回憶。迎接 70 週年，學校與台灣真美樹協會簽約三年，認養校舍後方的樟樹與溜滑梯旁的苦楝樹。變色龍攀樹工作室的教練帶來一堂「無屋頂自然課」，友善修剪讓老樹更美、更健康——這是一場跨世代的生命教育。

Under warm sunshine and warm applause, Chung Hsing opened its 69th-anniversary sports day. Honoured guests praised the school's long, patient work in education and the children's energy and confidence, encouraging every student to give their all on the field and in the classroom — a starting line for dreams.

Taiko on Stage太鼓社團・二林區才藝展演

At the 2026 Erlin District Student Talent Showcase, the Chung Hsing Taiko drum club delivered a confident, polished performance that drew warm applause. Behind the calm on stage were children who practise on their own and cheer each other on — proof that a stage is also the best evidence of effort and growth.

在 2026 學生才藝展（二林區），中興太鼓社團帶來精彩展演，孩子從容自信、表現穩健，贏得現場熱烈掌聲。舞台背後，是平時主動練習、彼此鼓勵的孩子——這不僅是一場表演，更是努力與成長的最佳見證！

The Mobile VR Classroom行動智慧車・VR 體驗課程

A retired Taipei PE teacher turned a delivery truck into a future-tech classroom and drove it across the mountains to rural schools. The moment Chung Hsing children put on the VR headsets, their eyes lit up — and a special "VR storytelling" class turned them from readers into explorers, creating new stories from every corner of their own campus.

一位台北退休體育老師把貨車改造成充滿未來感的 VR 行動教室，翻山越嶺走進偏鄉。孩子戴上 VR 裝置的那一刻，眼睛閃著光；特別規劃的「VR 敘事課」，讓孩子從觀看到創作，在科技中學習敘事——今天的中興孩子，不只是學習者，更是勇敢追夢的小小探險家！

Cool English Listening ChampionsCool English 英聽王・通過過半

More than half of the students who took part in the national Cool English "Listening Champion" challenge passed — a bright result for a small country school. Thank you to our English teachers for their patient guidance, and bravo to the children for practising again and again without giving up. The fruit of effort always tastes especially sweet.

恭喜本校參與 115 年度 Cool English 英聽王的學生，在努力付出後繳出亮眼成績，通過人數超過半數！特別感謝英文老師用心、耐心指導，也肯定孩子一次次認真練習、不輕言放棄的學習態度——辛苦與認真過後，收穫的果實總是特別甜美。

At the 2026 Changhua County District 4 Language Contest, Chung Hsing shone: a fourth-grader took first place in Taiwanese-Hokkien reading, and a fifth-grader won merit in the character-sound-and-form event. Behind the honour lies patient practice and devoted teachers — proof that sincere effort truly does shine.

恭喜本校學生參加彰化縣 115 年度第四區語文競賽，表現亮眼：四甲陳逸宇榮獲閩南語朗讀第一名、五甲周妍芳榮獲字音字形優勝！這份榮耀的背後，是孩子反覆練習的堅持與老師用心指導的成果——「認真付出，真的會發光！」

Two Chung Hsing students were selected in the county's 2025 Newspaper-Reading Creativity contest (Joyful Reading group). Reading widens our horizons and sharpens our thinking — we hope more children will fall in love with reading and discover how wonderful the world can be inside the written word.

A warm parenting workshop in the school hall, led by Teacher Chang Tsai-feng of the Mandarin Daily News, shared practical strategies for parent-child reading — plus hands-on picture-book activities and an adorable owl-doll craft. Thank you to our Parents' Association for the support. Companionship is the best gift we can give a child.

A Graduation Trip to Remember畢業旅行・難忘的成長時光

On day two of the graduation trip, our sixth-graders visited Leofoo Village Theme Park — riding the safari bus up close to lions and tigers, then braving ride after ride from screams to laughter. Through it all they looked after one another and kept to the group, showing the maturity and teamwork of senior students. More than play, it was a precious chapter of growing up.

中興國小畢業旅行第二天來到六福村主題遊樂園。孩子搭乘猛獸巴士近距離觀察獅子、老虎，既緊張又興奮；接著挑戰各項設施，從刺激尖叫到開懷大笑。旅途中孩子互相照顧、遵守團體規範，展現高年級的成熟與合作——這趟旅行不只是玩樂，更是珍貴的成長時光。
