English isn't only a class — it's the air of the whole campus.英語不只是一堂課,而是整座校園的空氣
At Chung Hsing, English lives between the lessons — the morning announcement that comes through the intercom in two languages, the teacher who says "line up, please" once a day, the everyday phrases children hear without studying and remember without trying.
在中興,英語活在課堂與課堂之間——早上廣播的雙語版本、老師偶爾說一句 "line up, please"、孩子不假思索就聽懂、不必死背就記住的日常用語。
This page gathers the two halves of that quiet bilingual layer: what teachers say in the classroom, and what the campus says back through the intercom. Both are produced with My Culture Connect 人師教育協會, and shared across our partner schools in Changhua.
這一頁把日常雙語的兩半合在一起:老師在課堂裡的英語,與校園透過廣播說回來的英語。兩者都由人師教育協會製作,並在彰化合作學校間共享。
A practical video library covering the everyday English a Taiwanese teacher actually uses in class: greetings and roll call, pre-class set-up, instructions, praise and correction, classroom management, lesson activities, assigning homework, wrapping up, and exam directions. Each video isolates one situation so the phrases stick on first hearing.
這個影片教材庫涵蓋臺灣老師每天會用到的課堂英語——問候點名、課前準備、講解、回饋讚美、糾正、教室管理、課堂活動、分派作業、課堂收尾、考試指令。每支影片只處理一個情境,第一次聽就能記住。
A 13-episode bilingual announcement series, organized by the school offices: Academic Affairs (教務處), Student Affairs (學務處), General Affairs (總務處), and Counselling (輔導室). Each office introduces what it does in both English and Chinese — turning the daily public-address routine into real-world bilingual exposure for every child in the corridors.
這是一個 13 集的雙語校園廣播系列,依處室分組:教務處、學務處、總務處、輔導室,由各組親自介紹自己的工作,雙語對照——把學校每天的廣播時間,變成全校學生在走廊上就能接收的英語浸潤。
A timetabled English period is necessary, but never sufficient. Real fluency takes hold when the language steps out of the textbook and into the everyday — the hallway, the broadcast, the teacher's natural voice. That is what a bilingual campus quietly builds, one announcement and one classroom phrase at a time.排進課表的英語課是必要的,但永遠不夠。真正的流利,是當語言走出課本、走進日常——走廊、廣播、老師自然的聲音。這就是雙語校園默默在做的事:一則廣播、一句課室英語,慢慢長成。
