The News from the Exam Hall
Every May, Taiwan's ninth-graders sit the country's most important junior-high examination — the test that helps decide which senior high school they will attend next. This spring, Yangming's Class of 2026 took the exam, and when the grades were released, three students had earned a perfect score: Liu Wan-Yu (Class 905), Tu Jie-Fei (Class 909), and Zhuo Pin-Tong (Class 912).
"A perfect score is not luck. It is three years of quiet, steady work finally showing its shape."
At Yangming, the whole campus shares in the celebration — classmates, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and the families who supported these students through three years of junior high. A perfect score belongs to one student's name, but it grows out of a whole community.
