In the scorching summer heat, the children's handmade creativity was quietly taking root! In this Summer Fun Learning camp, we led the children into the colorful world of insects, using soft, vibrant air-dry clay for a journey of sculpting full of surprises.
Watching their focused little eyes, tiny hands pinched, rolled, and pressed the clay into life: a mighty rhinoceros beetle and a longhorn beetle with its cool antennae; a stink bug with its distinctive pattern and a delicate, dancing butterfly; and little mushrooms and blooming flowers scattered throughout.
A Miniature Forest, Built Together
Best of all, the children pooled their teamwork and artistic sense, arranging their finished insects and flowers together on a bare tree branch! In an instant, an ordinary branch transformed into a miniature forest ecosystem, bursting with life.
