The cicadas are singing from the treetops this summer, and Tuku Elementary's classrooms are humming with just as much creative energy!
To welcome the Quanta Culture and Education Foundation's 2026 "Art in Play" exhibition — "Orchestra of Insects: A Chirping Creatures Show" — this year's Summer Fun Learning "Painting Master" course took on "Summer Insect Songs" as its theme. Under the expert guidance of teacher Yang Shu-ching, students combined nature observation with creativity to complete a series of delightful artworks.
Course Highlights
Foam Board Printmaking — Students carefully carved insect details into foam board, then took on the challenge of multi-color red-and-black overprinting. With Ms. Yang's guidance on precise registration and even ink rolling, they dramatically improved the color saturation and depth of their prints — real printmaking craftsmanship on display.
UFO Light & Shadow Exploration (The Alien Visitor Edition) — If aliens landed on Earth, how would they observe insects? After many rounds of experimentation, Ms. Yang combined Bristol board, transparency film, and acrylic markers. Students simulated the light beams of a UFO — sliding a patterned Bristol board reveals an insect on the transparency in an instant, letting them explore light and shadow from an alien's-eye view!
The children showed off rich imagination and hands-on skill — every single piece was one of a kind.

為了迎接 115 學年度廣達《游於藝》「蟲蟲大樂團—鳴蟲特展」，今年的「夏日樂學－畫畫達人」課程特別以「夏日蟲鳴」為主題，在楊淑青老師的專業引導下，帶領孩子們結合自然觀察與創意，完成一系列令人驚喜的作品。
課程精彩創作亮點：
珍珠板版畫創藝——孩子們在珍珠板上細心刻劃昆蟲細節，並挑戰高難度的紅、黑多色套印轉印。在淑青老師的指導下，透過精準對位與均勻滾色，大幅提升顏色的飽和度與層次感，展現扎實的版畫功夫。
幽浮光影探索（外星人訪客篇）——如果外星人蒞臨地球，會如何觀察昆蟲？淑青老師經多次試驗研發，選用西卡紙 × 投影片 × 丙烯馬克筆的巧妙組合。學生模擬外星幽浮（UFO）投射的光影，只要滑動帶有圖案的西卡紙，投影片上就會瞬間顯現昆蟲，以第一視角體驗趣味的光影探索！
孩子們展現了豐富的想像力與動手能力，每件作品都獨一無二。
