A small school with a big heart in Changhua's farming village
Tuku Village sits at the heart of Zhutang Township — a place shaped by the Zhuoshui River, home to thriving wetlands, migratory birds, and generations of Hakka families. Our school, Tuku Elementary, stands amid green rice paddies, serving 46 students with 13 dedicated teachers.
The name Tuku traces back to early settlers — some say from the earthen storehouses built by the first villagers; others from the low, muddy farmland that clung to workers' clothes. Whatever its origin, Tuku is a community rooted in the land — and so is our school.
