For a school of fewer than seventy children, this is a remarkable stage. Led by Principal Shih Huang-yu together with Directors Chiang Wen-hsiung and Yeh Jung-jen, Tongan students researched their own community, built a bilingual website about it, and presented it to the world — winning a Gold Award at the 2024 International Schools CyberFair and going on to earn a Platinum Award. Their work proves that a tiny mountain-ridge school can tell its story on a global stage.
對一所不到七十人的小校來說，這是了不起的舞台。在施皇羽校長與江文雄主任、葉榮仁主任帶領下，同安的孩子研究自己的社區、製作雙語網站、向世界發表，榮獲 2024 國際學校網界博覽會金獎，並進一步奪得白金獎。他們證明了：八卦台地上的迷你小校，也能在國際舞台上說自己的故事。
Tongan's archers are among the school's brightest stars. At the National Youth Cup and Pacific Archery Championship, Yang Chun-yuan and Huang Hsin-ning took silver in the elementary mixed-doubles recurve event, adding to a long run of strong finishes at county sports-season and chairman's-cup championships. Focus, patience, and a steady hand — archery teaches the whole child.
射箭隊是同安最閃亮的明星之一。在全國青年盃暨太平洋射箭錦標賽中，楊鈞元與黃訢甯勇奪國小組反曲弓混雙亞軍，延續了同安在縣體育季、理事長盃等賽事的亮眼戰績。專注、耐心、穩定的手——射箭，鍛鍊的是孩子的全人。
Science and making run deep at Tongan. Students earned Merit at the national SCRATCH coding competition and a Gold Medal in the information-technology category of the Technology Education Creative Hands-on Contest. From block coding to building real contraptions, our children learn that the best way to understand an idea is to build it yourself.
科普創客是同安的底蘊。學生榮獲全國中小學 SCRATCH 應用競賽甲等，以及科技教育創意實作競賽資訊科技組金牌獎。從積木式程式到動手打造真實裝置，孩子們學會：理解一個想法最好的方法，就是親手把它做出來。
Few schools of any size can match Tongan's science-fair record. Our young researchers have placed first in the Changhua County science fair for five years in a row, and most recently took second place in the whole national science fair, with further honors at the 64th fair. Curiosity, careful observation, and never giving up — that is the Tongan way.

Environmental education isn't a subject at Tongan — it's a way of life on the hillside. Students earned second place in an environmental-education hands-on competition and an honorable mention at the Ministry of Education's 6th School Environmental Education Contest. Rock climbing, tree climbing, cycling, beekeeping, and tending pineapple fields all teach the same lesson: take care of the land, and it takes care of you.
在同安，環境教育不是一門課，而是山坡上的生活方式。學生榮獲環境教育實作競賽第二名，以及教育部第六屆學校環境教育實作競賽佳作。攀岩、樹攀、單車、養蜂、照顧鳳梨田——都在傳遞同一個道理：善待土地，土地就會善待你。
Tongan's signature coffee curriculum turns the hills around the school into a living classroom. Working with local coffee farmers, students plant the trees, then learn to roast and grind the beans and pack the grounds into drip bags. In woodworking class they even saw, drill, and sand their own wooden pour-over stands. Coffee is how Tongan children connect English, science, and their own community — one cup at a time.
同安招牌的咖啡校本課程，把校園周邊的山坡變成一間活生生的教室。孩子與在地咖啡農合作種樹，學習烘豆、研磨、裝入濾掛袋；在木工課裡，他們甚至親手鋸切、鑽孔、打磨，做出自己的手沖咖啡架。咖啡，是同安孩子串起英語、科學與在地社區的方式——一次一杯。
