This year's Summer Reading camp brought together mother-tongue learning, hands-on making, sport and a walk through local history — and sent the children home full every single day.
今年暑假最熱鬧、最豐富的夏日樂學營隊，融合本土語文學習、創意手作、動態運動與在地文化巡禮，讓孩子們每天都收穫滿滿。
Director Yang Zi-qian had everyone playing with geometric shapes, assembling and then lighting up their own IQ fractal lamp. The moment the light came on, you could see the pride on every face. He also brought the sport of the moment — pickleball — and the children swung their rackets until they were glowing.
楊子謙主任帶著大家玩轉幾何形狀，一步步組裝並點亮屬於自己的「IQ 碎形燈」，看著燈光亮起的那一刻，孩子們眼中滿滿都是成就感！主任也帶來了時下最夯的「匹克球」指導，讓孩子們在揮拍運動中揮灑汗水、展現青春活力！
Teacher Xu Ming-sheng led the students out of school and deep into the community for a walking tour of “Beloved Zhuonaitan.” Following the Bapu Canal, the children visited local landmarks and listened to the stories behind them, feeling the pulse of their own hometown.
許名勝老師帶領學生走出校園，深入「戀戀卓乃潭」社區進行一場深度巡禮。孩子們沿著八堡圳探訪在地景點與歷史，用心感受家鄉的文化脈動與故事。
With Teacher Xiao Min-yue the children made small cement planters, casting them in moulds and then painting them by hand — every pot a one-off. Teacher Cai Shu-chun combined succulent planting with a hunt for the plants growing around the campus, and taught the whole course in Minnan, so that language learning grew straight out of what the children could see and touch.
蕭閔月老師陪伴孩子們動手做「泥作小盆栽」，從灌模到親手彩繪，每一盆都是獨一無二的藝術品；蔡淑春老師則結合「多肉植物栽種」與校園植物探索，全套課程全程以閩南語講解，將語言學習融入生活經驗與自然觀察之中。
Teacher Zhan Ya-ru brought the old flavours: the children steamed their own bowl rice cake and turnip cake, then learned weaving with traditional packing straps, turning an everyday craft into something useful and beautiful.
詹雅如老師帶孩子們手作傳統古早味，親自動手製作美味的碗粿與菜頭粿，享受懷舊滋味；手作課程更帶來「傳統打包帶編織」，從基礎編結到創新應用，讓傳統工藝轉化為生活中的實用美學！
Our warmest thanks to Director Yang Zi-qian and to Teachers Xu Ming-sheng, Xiao Min-yue, Cai Shu-chun and Zhan Ya-ru for teaching on the camp. Because of your warmth and patience, the children came to know their hometown through laughter, found their creativity through making, and carried away the best memory of this summer.
