Welcome to Santan Elementary School! We are in the beautiful town of Tianzhong, Changhua County, and we are home to around 200 students. Nestled among lush rice fields, our campus has spacious, well-kept grounds — perfect for the many activities our children love, from soccer to drumming class.
歡迎來到三潭國小！本校位於美麗的彰化縣田中鎮，現有約200 名學生。我們的校園坐落在鬱鬱蔥蔥的稻田之中，擁有寬敞且維護良好的場地，非常適合孩子們喜愛的各種活動——從足球到太鼓班。
At Santan we are committed to a well-rounded education. Alongside a strong academic programme, we offer a wide range of after-school clubs to help every child grow and discover their talents. We are also proud to build a bilingual learning environment, with teaching in both Mandarin and English.

A school named for the villages it serves.
校名，來自我們服務的三個村里。
Santan stands in Beilu Village, Tianzhong Township, with the historic Bapu Canal and Wenxing High School just to the north. Our catchment covers the three "pond" villages the school is named after — Zhongtan, Longtan and Dingtan — together with part of Beilu. What began as the Santan branch of Tianzhong Public School became a school in its own right in 1956, and in 2024 it marked its 68th anniversary.
本校位於彰化縣田中鎮北路里，北邊隔著八堡圳與文興中學相鄰；學區範圍包含田中鎮的中潭里、龍潭里、頂潭里以及部分的北路里——「三潭」之名即由此而來。學校自民國四十五年由田中國民學校三潭分校正式獨立為三潭國民小學，至民國 113 年已滿六十八週年。

To widen what children can reach for, Santan has opened club after club over the years — dance, table tennis, taiko drumming, ocarina, inline skating, ukulele, archery, diabolo and taekwondo among them — so that every student has somewhere to find what they are good at. 為拓展學生學習的觸角，陸續開辦舞蹈、桌球、太鼓、陶笛、直排輪、烏克麗麗、射箭、扯鈴、跆拳道……等各類型社團，提供更加多元的學習環境。
Our school-designed curriculum takes the marathon as its spine and runs three themed strands off it — a History & Culture marathon, a Sports marathon and a Food marathon — each one going deeper and wider as children move up the school. 本校校訂課程以馬拉松為主軸，延伸文史馬、運動馬及美食馬三大主題課程，逐年以加深、加廣的方式延展學習課程。
Santan fields a soccer team, a track and field team and an archery team, and our young athletes have done well in competition across every one of these sports. The rainbow sports wall along the track was painted for them. 本校另成立足球隊、田徑隊及射箭隊，在各項體育項目皆有優異成績；操場邊的彩虹運動牆，正是為這群孩子而畫。
Santan has ten general classes and two itinerant resource classes, so support reaches the children who need it. Since 2021 the campus has also been home to the Santan Non-Profit Preschool, publicly commissioned and privately run — which means our youngest learners grow up on the same grounds. 學校設有普通班 10 班與不分類巡迴班 2 班；自民國 110 年起附設公辦民營的三潭非營利幼兒園開始招生，讓最小的孩子也在同一片校園中長大。
