The long summer holiday is nearly over, and the new term is almost here. Over the last days of the break, it helps to sort out stationery with your child, get everything ready for the first day, and let the routine settle back in — earlier nights, earlier mornings, and a mind that is ready to learn again.

Back-to-school day is Friday 28 August. The morning runs from tidying the classrooms (7:30–7:50) to the staff morning meeting (8:00–8:35) and homeroom time (8:40–10:00), with dismissal at 10:00. The first day of term is Monday 31 August, following the normal schedule: Grade 1 finishes at 12:00, Grade 2 at 12:40, and Grade 3 and above at 15:55.

The first day is also a welcome for our new first-graders. Parents walk their children in, and at the gate the teachers and the principal are waiting with a smile and a high-five, so that "going to school" begins as something to look forward to. New students wear the school's short-sleeved blue-and-white checked uniform; on that first day Grade 1 finishes at noon, and families collect their children from the Grade 1 classrooms.
開學第一天，也是給小一新生的迎新。爸爸媽媽陪著孩子走進校園，校門口有親切的老師與校長，帶著微笑和擊掌迎接，讓「上學」成為孩子期待的美好開始。新生請穿著本校短袖藍白格制服；當天一年級中午 12 點放學，請家長直接到一年級各班接回孩子。
