A Graduation for Lifelong Learners

Lukang Elementary's adult education class held its 2026 graduation ceremony. The class helps two groups in particular: adults who missed schooling when they were children, and immigrant residents who married into the community — building their reading, writing and everyday communication in Mandarin, and giving every learner a fresh chance to keep growing.

鹿港國小 115 年成人教育班舉行結業典禮。這個班特別幫助兩群人：兒時失學的國民，以及嫁到在地的新住民——提升他們的華語讀寫與日常溝通能力，也給每一位學習者重新學習、持續成長的機會。

The learners treasured a chance that was not easy to come by. They came rain or shine, kept at it through the ordinary difficulties of daily life, and carried what they learned back into everyday tasks — reading a notice, filling in a form, talking with a shopkeeper.

學員們特別珍惜這份得來不易的學習機會。他們風雨無阻、認真學習，即使面對生活中的各種挑戰，仍堅持學習、努力進步，並把所學延伸到日常生活裡——看一張通知、填一份表格、和店家聊上兩句。

One learner, now in her eighties and known to everyone as Grandma A-Zuan, is the class's best example of "keep learning for as long as you live." Her courage and steadiness show what that old saying really means. The principal made time to attend the ceremony and hand each learner a certificate in person, warming the day and making it one to remember.

其中，一位年逾八旬、大家都喚她「阿專阿嬤」的學員，正是「活到老、學到老」終身學習精神的最佳典範。她的勇氣與毅力，讓這句老話有了真實的分量。校長也在百忙之中撥冗參加典禮，親自為每位學員頒發結業證書，讓這份喜悅與榮耀更加溫暖而難忘。

Each certificate is more than a record of study. It stands for the courage to learn, to keep growing, and to seek self-fulfilment. Learning has no age limit, and growth has no finish line.

一張張結業證書，不只是學習成果的見證，更象徵著勇於學習、持續成長、追求自我實現的珍貴歷程。學習不受年齡限制，成長永遠沒有終點。
