Principal Chen Hung-chun became the 12th principal of Lukang Elementary School in the 2026 school year. Lukang is the first school of her principalship.
陳虹君校長於115 學年度（2026 年）接任鹿港國小第 12 任校長。鹿港國小是她校長生涯的第一站。
Her route to this office ran through the classroom and the county office alike. She served for years at Sanmin Elementary and Dazhu Elementary, taking on administrative work up to Director of General Affairs, and then worked as a Curriculum Supervisor for the Changhua County Education Department — a role that gave her a whole-county view of how curriculum and teaching fit together. She holds a master's from the Graduate Institute of Education at National Chung Cheng University, and passed the county's 24th cohort of principal selection.
她走到校長室的路，同時經過教室與縣府。她曾在三民國小、大竹國小服務多年，歷任總務主任等行政職務，隨後於彰化縣政府教育處擔任課程督學——這個位置，讓她對全縣的課程與教學如何相互配合，有了整體的視野。她畢業於國立中正大學教育學研究所，並通過彰化縣國民中小學第 24 期校長甄選。
Her approach she sums up as "a new vision for education, built one steady step at a time." She wants to bring that county-wide perspective into a century-old school — adding fresh thinking to its curriculum — while building carefully on the strong foundations Lukang already has. And she holds to one belief above the rest: every journey is a continuation of the original heart of education. Lead with wisdom; nurture with love.
她把自己的做法概括為一句話：「以『教育新視野』穩紮穩打。」她希望把課程督學的全局視角帶進這所百年老校，為課程注入創新的思維，同時在鹿港既有的穩固基礎上踏實前行。她也始終抱持一個信念：每一段旅程，都是教育初心的延續——以智慧領航，用愛灌溉。

On 12 August 2026, Lukang Elementary held its principal handover ceremony — with thanks for the outgoing principal's years of service, and a warm welcome for Principal Chen.
