My guiding line as an educator is a short one: education is nothing but love and example. Everything else — the plans, the policies, the paperwork — is built on top of those two words. Young people learn what care looks like by being cared for, and they learn what a professional looks like by watching one at work.
我的辦學理念很短：「教育無他、愛與榜樣」。其餘的一切——計畫、制度、公文——都建立在這兩個詞之上。孩子從被關心中學會什麼是關心，也從看著大人認真工作中，學會什麼是專業。
A vocational school carries a particular responsibility. Our students come to us to learn a trade they can live by, so what we owe them is not only a qualification but the habits that go with it: to serve, to keep to a professional standard, to govern themselves, and to keep looking outward at a world that is larger than one workshop.
技職學校有它特別的責任。學生來到這裡，是要學一門足以安身立命的本事；因此我們該給的不只是一紙資格，還有隨之而來的習慣——服務的態度、專業的標準、自律的能力，以及望向比一間工場更大的世界的眼光。
I came to ChungShih on 1 August 2024. It is my privilege to work with our teachers, our families and the industries around us to keep this school a place where every student can find the thing they are good at — and be properly good at it.
我於 2024 年 8 月 1 日（民國 113 年 8 月 1 日）到任崇實。能與本校教師、家長以及周邊產業一起努力，讓每個學生都能找到自己擅長的事、並且真正把它做好，是我的榮幸。

一路走過技職與高中教育現場：從教學、學校行政，到校長室。
Principal Chen read agricultural economics at National Taiwan University, taking his master's degree there. His school career began at Tongde Home Economics and Commercial Vocational High School, where he served as chief of the student discipline division, director of school affairs and acting principal, and at Yanhe Junior High School in Nantou County as chief of the health division. At National Shuili Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School he held the full set of senior administrative posts — secretary, and director of academic, student and general affairs — before becoming principal of National Guanshan Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School (2016–2020) and then of National Ren-ai Senior High School of Agriculture and Industry (2020–2024). He took up his post at ChungShih in August 2024.
陳校長畢業於國立臺灣大學農業經濟學研究所，取得碩士學位。學校生涯始於同德家商，歷任訓育組長、校務主任、代理校長；並曾任南投縣立延和國中衛生組長。在國立水里商工，他完整歷練了秘書與教務、學務、總務主任等行政職務，之後接任國立關山工商校長（2016–2020）、國立仁愛高農校長（2020–2024），並於 2024 年 8 月到任崇實高工。

Love and example are not soft words in a vocational school — they are the two things a workshop runs on. A student learns safety because a teacher never cuts the corner. A student learns care because somebody took the trouble to show them again. That is why Principal Chen asks administration to serve, teachers to hold a professional standard, and guidance to build self-discipline: each of the nine principles is, in the end, a way of setting an example worth copying.
在技職學校裡，「愛」與「榜樣」不是軟性的詞——實習工場正是靠這兩件事運轉的。學生學會安全，是因為老師從不便宜行事；學生學會細心，是因為有人願意再示範一次。這就是為什麼陳校長要求行政強調服務、教師重視專業、輔導培養自律：九項理念到最後，都是在立下一個值得被模仿的榜樣。
