
Principal Lin Jun-cheng walked through the gate of Zhongzheng Elementary in August 2024, becoming the tenth principal in the school's seventy-year history. He came to the role after decades inside Changhua County's elementary schools — first as a homeroom teacher, then through six different administrative chairs, and finally as a curriculum supervisor at the county government before being entrusted with this campus in southern Erlin.
2024 年 8 月,林畯城校長走進中正國小的校門,成為這所七十年校史中的第十任校長。他在彰化縣的小學系統服務多年——從級任老師起步,歷任六個不同處室的組長與主任,最後在縣府教育處擔任課程督學,才在 2024 年 8 月接下這所二林南境的校園。

Thirty winters and summers have passed since I began this work in education. From the teaching and the administrative chairs I have sat in, I have come to understand: for me, the work of education is the one road on which I keep searching for the meaning of my own life.
從事教育工作轉眼三十個寒暑過去,從所經歷教學工作及行政工作中,體悟到教育工作對我而言就是追尋自我生命意義的唯一道路。
Looking ahead — as principal — I hope to hold onto the original heart of education, to lead by example with love and full effort, and to build with our teachers a campus warmed by care. For our students, I hope to extend what Mencius called "caring for one's own young, and then for the young of others," — giving love and concern, so that we may return, in even the smallest measure, what this country and society have invested in us.
