The game is built around Taiwan's banquet culture and its dishes. Familiar everyday ingredients become cards, and each card has a clear picture and Chinese characters, plus zhuyin and Taiwanese romanisation — so children naturally learn the name of each ingredient and how to say it in Taiwanese.
《做伙來辦桌》以臺灣「辦桌文化」與料理為主題，把生活中熟悉的食材做成一張張食材卡；卡片上除了圖案與國字，還搭配注音及台語拼音，讓孩子在遊戲中自然認識食材名稱與台語說法。
