"When flowers bloom, the butterflies come; when a person shines, the sky makes room." My hope for Xishi is to shape a school of many-sided, creative learning — a place where children grow up happy, discover what they can do, and each achieve a brilliance of their own.
「花若盛開，蝴蝶自來；人若精彩，天自安排。」我對西勢的期待，是塑造一所多元創新的學習環境，讓孩子們幸福成長、快樂展能，成就各自不同的精彩。
Education, to me, comes down to a few plain sentences. It is not the pouring of water into a bucket, but the lighting of a fire. It asks of a teacher nothing more, and nothing less, than love and example. And love means seeing, in another person's need, your own responsibility.
對我而言，教育可以濃縮成幾句話——教育不是注滿一桶水，而是點燃一把火；教育無他，唯愛與榜樣而已；愛，是在別人的需要上，看見自己的責任。

A humane education that draws out a child's good nature. Education is centred on the person and begins from what is bright in human nature. It cares for each student's mind, body and character, is reasonable and kind, and never uses physical punishment in any form. Children should learn and grow in an environment of safety and love.
以人性化的教育方式，啟發孩子良善的本性。教育以「人」為中心，從人性的光明面出發，注重學生身心與人格發展，通情達理、時時關懷，尤其不施予任何形式的體罰，讓孩子在安全與愛的環境中學習成長。
Whole-person education, five ways in balance. Moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic development grow together, not one at the expense of the rest — so that school life awakens a child's character, thinking, feeling, body, sense of beauty and creativity all at once.
重視全人教育，五育均衡發展。德、智、體、群、美五育均衡並進，而不偏重某一項，讓學校的課程與教學能啟發孩子在品德、認知、情緒、身體、美學與創造上的全方位發展。
Teachers lead by example. "Education is life": spending each day alongside children, the attitudes a teacher shows and the way they treat others become the model students imitate. The way of education is nothing other than love and example.
教師以身作則，用身教做為學生的榜樣。「教育即生活」，教師與孩子朝夕相處，所散發的人生態度與待人接物，都是學生模仿的對象——教育之道無他，唯愛與榜樣而已。
