Huatan's Virtuous Fragrance

Through the joint efforts of Huatan's "De Sin" character education program and seven township elementary and junior high schools, children learn everyday habits — following the rules, showing courtesy, and expressing gratitude — letting good character take root, one small moment at a time.

Character education isn't a single lesson. It's practiced every day.

On July 21, principals, directors, teachers, and parents from each school accompanied this group of young "Character Ambassadors" on a learning journey to the Feniu Ranch and the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum. At Feniu Ranch, children fed ducks by hand and tried milking a cow, learning to respect life through real interaction with animals. At the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum, they walked among finely carved wooden artworks, broadening their artistic horizons and their appreciation for craft and culture.

Character education was never meant to be a single day's lesson — it is something practiced in everyday life. We hope these children carry what they've learned back to campus and back home, continuing to treat others with kindness and act with integrity, becoming role models for their classmates and a source of warmth for society.
