Three Wenchang students placed in this year's Cool English Speaking Masters Competition, a countywide English oral contest: Xu Chen-wen and Xie Yi-rong (both Grade 5A), along with Gong Jin-fei (Grade 4A). All three were coached by Teacher Wang Yu-tian. For a small village school, three placings in one round is an outstanding result.

Two Wenchang alumni have gone on to selective programs: the school's 67th-cohort graduate Huang Shi-chi was admitted to Jingcheng Senior High School's gifted stream, and 61st-cohort graduate Zhou Yu-sheng was accepted into the Department of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University. The watermelon fields of Fuxing grow more than fruit.

Gong Jin-fei (Grade 4A) won first place in the Taiwanese-language recitation competition. The same student also placed in the Cool English Speaking contest (see above) — a rare double across two different language streams in the same academic year.

Chen Bo-rong (Grade 6A) earned a silver medal in the 68 kg weight division at the countywide taekwondo competition. Taekwondo is one of Wenchang's featured competitive areas, and this result keeps a strong tradition going.

Cai Yi-shan (Grade 6A) took third place in the Go (圍棋) competition. Alongside taekwondo, English, and inline skating, Go is one of the four competition tracks Wenchang explicitly develops — a deliberate choice to give rural-village students a wide range of arenas to excel in.

Xu Ting-yu (Grade 4A) won 2nd and 3rd place in two inline speed-skating events on the same competition day. Inline skating has been part of Wenchang's athletics curriculum for years, and results like this show why — consistent practice leads to consistent podiums.

From July 20 to 24, students in Grades 3 through 6 are invited to join a hands-on kayaking camp. The five-day program is designed to build water safety awareness, teamwork, and physical confidence — all outside the usual classroom setting. Sign-ups through the school office.

A two-day green energy workshop on August 12–13 will introduce students to solar power, wind energy, and sustainable design. Part of the school's ongoing commitment to environmental literacy — Wenchang has previously run outdoor education at Chaoyang Green Energy Park, and this workshop extends that work into the summer.

On December 15, Wenchang students connected live with classrooms abroad for a structured cross-cultural exchange session. Students introduced themselves, shared aspects of Taiwanese village life, and listened to their counterparts do the same. As a certified Setting Sail school under MOE's International Education 2.0 framework, these exchanges are a core part of how Wenchang goes beyond the textbook.

Students traveled to Kaohsiung for a two-day outdoor education experience on February 24–25. The trip was designed around experiential learning beyond the classroom — combining cultural sites, teamwork activities, and exposure to urban life quite different from the watermelon fields of Fuxing Township.

Students from Wenchang's various clubs and extracurricular activities performed in the Changhua County Clubs Showcase for the 115th academic year. The performance featured a range of acts drawn from the school's after-school program — a reminder that a small village school still has a full stage to fill.

Wenchang students participating in the Cool English self-directed learning platform were recognized for their consistent engagement outside class hours. The program rewards students who complete listening, speaking, and vocabulary activities independently — building the habit of learning English between the lessons, not only during them.
