On June 12, 2026, two large air-quality monitoring vehicles arrived at Tiantou Elementary — and they made quite a sight in the school's compact front courtyard! One is our quarterly monitor, which collects data over a full 24 hours. The other is an annual mobile monitoring unit that will be stationed here for nearly five days to carry out a thorough, week-long measurement.
All of this — for one simple reason: clean air for our children to learn in.
Both vehicles happened to be parked at the same time today, their large frames standing out rather boldly in the limited space. It was a gentle reminder for our students: please keep a safe distance from the monitoring equipment while it is in operation.
Monitoring the air our children breathe is not just a scientific task — it is an act of care. We are proud that Tiantou takes this responsibility seriously, season by season and year by year.
