On June 5, 2026, Tiantou's graduating students set off on a wonderful field trip to the Yichuan Heart Water Resource Environmental Education Park right here in Zhutang — a day packed with ecology, science, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart.
Learning is most beautiful when it happens beyond the classroom walls.
Led by the knowledgeable guide Guobin, the students first navigated the park using orienteering — hunting for targets and completing tasks that revealed the park's hidden corners. What looked like ordinary spaces became rich, living classrooms once they slowed down to observe and explore.
Next came the highlight everyone was waiting for — the water ecology session. Students waded to the edge of the pond, scooped up aquatic creatures with their own hands, and took a close look at each animal's features and habits. Then they sorted, discussed, and turned textbook science into real, hands-on understanding: from "seeing" to truly "knowing."
The students also became junior volunteers, helping to fix and secure a wildlife climbing net — giving something back to the park with their own effort and care.
Before lunch, they put their scout skills to work: measuring, tying, and assembling an outdoor bamboo table from scratch. When the table finally stood firm, everyone sat down to eat with huge smiles of achievement on their faces.
Perhaps the park is small — but the learning it holds is boundless. Perhaps it was just one day — but for these children, it was a memory that will last a lifetime.
今天，田頭國小畢業生來到位於竹塘的一串心水資源環境教育園區，展開一場結合環境教育、科學探索與團隊合作的精彩學習之旅。
在國賓大哥的專業帶領下，孩子們首先透過定向運動穿梭園區，以尋找目標與解決任務的方式認識園區環境。原本看似平凡的角落，透過觀察與探索，都成為了學習的教材。
接著進行最受孩子期待的水生態課程。孩子們親自走到水池邊，動手撈取水中生物，近距離觀察牠們的外型特徵與生活習性，再透過分類與討論，將課本中的自然科學知識化為真實的學習經驗。從「看見」到「理解」，孩子們在實作中感受自然生態的豐富與奧妙。
除了學習，孩子們也化身小小志工，協助整理與固定生物攀爬網，為園區環境盡一份心力，用實際行動展現服務學習的精神。
午餐時間前，我們更發揮童軍技能，利用竹材搭建戶外餐桌。從測量、固定到組裝，大家分工合作、齊心協力完成任務。當竹製餐桌順利搭建完成時，孩子們迫不及待坐下享用午餐，臉上滿是成就感與喜悅。
或許園區的規模不大，卻蘊藏著豐富的學習能量；或許只有短短一天，卻為孩子留下難忘的成長記憶。
一串心，不只是一個園區，更是一堂與土地、水環境對話的生命課程。
