Cheng Li-Ya鄭麗雅 校長

A lifelong Sijhou educator — class teacher, dean of students, dean of general affairs, then principal of Xinsheng Elementary before returning home in 2019 to lead a school she has helped shape from inside for decades.
鄭校長一生與溪州教育同行——曾任溪州國小導師、學務主任、總務主任，再赴新生國小擔任校長，2019 年回到自己參與多年的溪州國小，接任校長迄今。

At Sijhou, the principal's compass has only two coordinates: Love is the centre, and Example is the radius. The first opens the school's heart to every child; the second decides how far that heart can reach.
在溪州，校長的辦學羅盤只有兩個座標：「愛」是圓心，「榜樣」是半徑。前者決定學校會不會把每個孩子當回事，後者決定這份心能走多遠。

Every Sijhou decision starts from "what does this child actually need?" — not "what's easier to administer?"
每一個校務決定，先問「這個孩子需要的是什麼」，再問「行政上比較好處理的是什麼」。

Teachers model patience and curiosity; the principal models reading and showing up. Children copy what we do, not what we say.
