Second Round of Summer Soccer Camp Kicks Off

Today was practice day for the second round of the Santan summer soccer camp. In the afternoon the Grade 4–6 advanced group went first, and then the Grade 1–3 beginners took over the hall.

今天是三潭暑假足球營第二梯次的練習日，下午由四至六年級進階班學長姐率先登場，接著是一至三年級初階班的小小足球員接棒練習。

What made this round special was how many children in the beginners' group are about to start Grade 1. For some of them it was the first time they had ever touched a football — but with the coach leading in his lively, professional way, every child was brave enough to try and threw themselves in. From dribbling to passing to shooting, each one was completely absorbed, faces full of the joy of learning and the smile that comes with getting it right.

今年最特別的是，初階班迎來了許多即將升上小一的新生！雖然有些人是第一次接觸足球，但在教練專業又活潑的帶領下，孩子們都勇敢嘗試、認真投入。從帶球、傳球到射門，每個孩子都全神貫注，臉上充滿了學習的喜悅與成功的笑容。

Soccer is not just about kicking a ball — it is a lesson in growing up. Through it children build focus and coordination, get fitter and healthier, learn what teamwork means, learn to face a challenge and never give up, and gain confidence and the ability to solve problems.

足球，不只是踢球，更是一堂成長課！透過足球運動，孩子們能培養專注力與協調性、增進體能與健康、建立團隊合作精神、學習面對挑戰永不放棄，並提升自信心與解決問題的能力。

Every practice is a step of growth; every drop of sweat is proof of progress. After a summer of work, we believe the children's skills will keep getting better — and that they will also become braver, more confident, and better at working with others.

每一次練習，都是一次成長；每一滴汗水，都是進步的見證。相信經過暑假的努力，孩子們不僅球技會越來越好，也會變得更勇敢、更有自信、更懂得與人合作。
