On 4 August 2026 Qiaotou held a buffet to welcome Principal Chen Chun-wen on taking up his post. The principal, the whole staff, parents and invited guests gathered in one room; the school’s new chapter began over a warm and cheerful lunch.

A meal is a practical way to start. It puts everybody in the same room without an agenda, which is exactly what a school needs on the day a new principal arrives — the teaching team, the parents’ association, the volunteers and the guests all meeting each other rather than being introduced from a stage.
用一頓飯開始，是一個很務實的做法。它讓所有人在沒有議程的情況下同處一室，而這正是一所學校在新校長到任那天最需要的——教師團隊、家長會、志工與來賓彼此見面，而不是站在台上被一一介紹。
The gathering drew people closer together, and it stands for something: that everyone here intends to work side by side and to look after the children’s learning and growing. Qiaotou goes on innovating and moving steadily forward, building a happy, high-quality campus to learn in.
