On 22 April 2026, World Earth Day, the whole school — every teacher and every student — walked out into the community for a hiking and field-study activity, caring for the Earth and getting to know their hometown on foot.
114 年 4 月 22 日世界地球日，湳雅國小全校師生走入社區，參加健行踏查活動，一起用行動關心地球、親近家鄉。
Along the way they visited a local speciality business — the Senyue Bee Farm — where the owner, Mr Huang, gave a warm introduction and tour, and even offered cool, sweet honey water to help everyone beat the heat.
途中我們拜訪了在地特色產業——森悅養蜂場，感謝黃老闆熱情介紹與導覽，還貼心提供清涼甘甜的蜂蜜水，讓大家消暑又解渴。
Thanks also to Chairman Rao for thoughtfully preparing popsicles, tea and snacks, and to all the teachers and volunteers who guided the students and directed the traffic so that the activity ran smoothly and safely.
也感謝饒會長貼心準備的冰棒與茶水點心，讓這趟健康之旅更加美好；更要感謝所有協助的師長與志工們，一路細心帶領學生、協助交通指揮，讓活動順利又安全。
Everyone stepped out of the classroom and onto the land, using their own two feet to understand the environment and experience their local area. The activity was a complete success.
