In 2019, American volunteer educator Grandpa Mike (Michael Dishnow, 1943–2025) came to Jhonghe to teach English. He flew to Taiwan again and again at his own expense, school by school across Changhua. On June 3, athletes from every elementary school in Pitou Township gathered at the Jhonghe track for the 115-year County Games qualifier — a tribute to how seriously this small school takes its athletics program. 6 月 3 日埤頭鄉各國小選手齊聚中和國小田徑場，舉行 115 年縣民運動大會埤頭鄉國小組選拔賽。

US educator and social-movement leader Dom Jones (now based in Taiwan) visited Jhonghe as part of her My Culture Connect campus tour. Grade 4A visited Changhua Arts High School's Metaverse Smart Hall — the county's first dedicated VR/AR learning space. Students explored Changhua's historic sites in 3D and stretched their reflexes with Switch interactive games. 四甲學生前往彰化藝術高中設置的全彰化縣首座「元宇宙智慧館」，透過 VR/AR 沉浸式探索彰化古蹟，並透過 Switch 遊戲互動提升反應力。
Grade 6A spent the day learning what a "space makeup artist" really does — touring the woodworking studio, watching career-path videos, building with their hands, and reflecting on what they discovered. 六甲展開職業探索，主題「空間化妝師－木作工程」：中心影片欣賞、教室導覽、主題課程動手體驗、綜合回饋分享。
Chairman Zhang Shanming of Kinmen Metals — a Jhonghe alumnus — donated another NT$100,000 to the scholarship he established in memory of his father Teacher Zhang Kaolai (who both studied and taught at Jhonghe). Total scholarship fund now NT$1.3 million, plus NT$10,000 for the upcoming centennial. 榮譽校友張山明董事長感念父親張考來老師曾在中和國小就讀並任教，設立紀念獎學金；今再捐 10 萬，累計達 130 萬元，另捐 1 萬支持明年（2027）即將到來的百週年校慶。
The school activity center was transformed into a "star-rated Western restaurant" for Children's Day. For one week of the winter break, instructors from the Wu Family Dough-Craft Studio in Xihu taught children traditional dough sculpture — kneading 12 zodiac animals while naturally switching into Taiwanese to talk about each one. 由溪湖巫家捏麵館老師帶領孩子認識傳統捏麵技藝與在地文化，以 12 生肖為主題創作，過程中自然開口使用本土語。

Every melody on stage was the result of weeks of patient practice. Thanks to the families who supported every rehearsal, and to the conductor whose careful guidance brought out each child's confidence. 悠揚的直笛聲中，孩子們用音樂展現這學期努力練習的成果——每一首樂曲都是一次次練習、一次次突破自己的累積。
