From Seeing the World to Sharing It: Our Japan Study Tour

Learning stepped outside the classroom — and out into the world! Hsiushui students took part in the Changhua County Government’s 2026 International Education Japan Study Program for junior high teachers and students. They visited Japanese schools, experienced a different culture, and broadened their horizons through exchange and observation.

本校學生參加彰化縣政府主辦的「115年度國中師生國際教育日本見學計畫」，走進日本校園、體驗不同文化，在交流與觀察中拓展國際視野。

Back at school, the students brought the journey home. With slides and photos, they told their classmates about school life in Japan, local culture and the people they met. Along the way they showed a calm, confident side of themselves — going from “going out to see the world” to “standing on stage to share it.” What grew was not only their knowledge, but their speaking skills, their confidence and their view of the world.

返校後，參與見學的同學將這趟學習旅程帶回校園，透過簡報、照片，和同學分享日本校園生活、在地文化與交流見聞，展現出大方、自信與從容的一面。從「走出去看世界」，到「站上臺分享世界」，看見的不只是知識的累積，更是表達力、自信心與國際視野的成長。

On September 23, Principal Lai led the group to the program’s results presentation, where the students turned what they had seen, heard and learned into deeper learning. Congratulations to one of our ninth-graders, who won an Excellence Award for business-card design! The head of the County Education Department presented the award in person, in recognition of the student’s creativity.

9 月 23 日由校長親自領隊，帶領同學參加「115年度國中師生國際教育日本見學成果發表」，再次將旅程中的所見、所聞與所學轉化為更深刻的學習成果。恭喜本校九年級同學獲得名片設計優良獎項！感謝教育處吳蘭梅處長親自頒獎勉勵，肯定孩子的創意，為努力留下珍貴紀念。

Thank you to the Changhua County Government for this rare chance to learn beyond our borders, to the Education Department for its encouragement, and to Principal Lai and all the teachers who led the trip and guided the students along the way.
