Little actors step into the light! As part of their life-curriculum unit “Shadows, Change and Play (影子變變變),” our second-graders became shadow-puppet performers — crafting their own puppets by hand, rehearsing their lines, and bringing a wonderful shadow-puppet show to the stage.
During the performance, some children forgot a line, some hurried to whisper a cue to a classmate, and others focused intently on working their puppets to make each character move. It was not always flawless — but it overflowed with the children’s most sincere effort and cooperation.
From first getting to know light and shadow, to finally standing on the stage, the children gained far more than curriculum knowledge. Through rehearsal after rehearsal, they grew in self-expression, in teamwork, and in solving problems together.
Watching their earnest little silhouettes behind the screen, and the focused eyes of the audience in front of it, we saw growth in its most beautiful form. Every beam of light lit up a child’s imagination; every shadow left a footprint of learning.

配合生活課程「影子變變變」，二年級的小朋友們化身為皮影戲演員，親手製作戲偶、練習台詞，並完成了一場精彩的皮影戲演出。
演出過程中，有人忘了詞、有人忙著幫同學提示，也有人專心操作戲偶，努力讓角色動起來。雖然不一定完美，卻充滿了孩子們最真誠的投入與合作。
從認識光與影，到實際站上舞台，孩子們不僅學習了課程知識，更在一次次練習中培養表達能力、團隊合作與解決問題的能力。
看著布幕後認真演出的身影，以及布幕前專注欣賞的眼神，都是成長最美的模樣。
