New Year blessings from Teacher Dave! Happy New Year, Hsinmin! Welcome back, Teacher Dave. It was truly moving to see the teachers' and students' beautifully handmade displays for the Year of the Horse — the campus was full of festive spirit and creativity.
Authentic flavours: students made traditional steamers and stoves, a reunion hot pot, and even Teacher Dave's favourite Taiwanese fried chicken. Warding off bad luck, welcoming fortune: through displays of dragon dancing and fireworks, and a coin-toss game featuring a miniature building-block God of Wealth, everyone prayed for good luck.
The Hsinmin spirit: Year-of-the-Horse paper-cutting and an elegant violin display represent our school's core values — love, education and nature. We hope to share Hsinmin's outstanding educational ideals and musical talent with the whole world.
