No — IE-GC is an after-school program. Regular lessons still follow Ministry of Education policy in each child's homeroom class; students join the IE-GC class after school.
IE-GC 國際班是「課後實施」。正課依然依照教育部政策在原班級上課，放學後才參加 IE-GC 班。
Where do the teachers come from? Are they all foreign teachers?師資來源為何？全是外師嗎？
Teachers are arranged by NCUE's Graduate Institute of Technology & Children's English Education. Each class pairs one Chinese homeroom tutor with a foreign teacher — the foreign teacher leads listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while the Chinese tutor supports guidance and management.
師資由【彰化師範大學科技與兒少英語研究所】安排。每班有一位中籍導師與外籍教師合作，外師主授聽說讀寫，中師協助輔導與管理。
Can children from other schools join?不是新民國小的孩子可以參加嗎？
For now the program mainly serves Hsinmin students; families are welcome to transfer their household registration to enrol at Hsinmin.

What if my child can't understand the foreign teacher?外師上課孩子聽不懂怎麼辦？
Foreign teachers teach entirely in English; if a child can't follow at first, the Chinese tutor assists alongside — parents need not worry.
外師採全英語上課，若孩子一開始聽不懂，中師會在旁協助，請家長放心。
Will the class coach for English certification or school exams?會輔導學生參加英檢或學校段考嗎？
IE-GC focuses on deepening English ability and broadening international perspective, so it does not actively coach for English tests or school exams, though students are encouraged to take them on their own. The Chinese tutor will help students complete school homework where possible.
IE-GC 班以深耕英語能力及開拓國際觀為主，不會主動輔導參加英檢或學校段考，但鼓勵學生自行參加。中師會盡量輔導完成學校作業。
How is the fee calculated?收費如何計算？
Tuition is about NT$36,000 per term (around 5.5 months) and materials/miscellaneous fees about NT$4,000. If a student withdraws midway, refunds follow the regulations for continuing-education programs at colleges and above.
學費一學期約 $36,000 元（約 5.5 個月），教材雜費約 $4,000 元。若中途退出，退費標準依專科以上學校推廣教育實施辦法辦理。
Places are limited — how does admission work?名額有限如何錄取？
For SY2026 (115學年度), the program plans to admit 50 students (one class each for Grades 1 and 2). Admission is prioritised by the order of registration and payment, until full.
