This year we've moved from Cebu to Clark — home to a former U.S. military base, the whole area feels like an oversized version of a quiet garden town. It doesn't have the bustle and convenience of a tourist city like Cebu, but what it does have is an environment that's genuinely built for studying.

I think that after two weeks of language learning here, the children's English should improve quite a bit. Beyond that, I also hope they learn to take care of themselves and get along with others in a group living setting.
