Guanyu Elementary sits in Fuxing, a coastal township on the northwest edge of Changhua, where the land meets the Taiwan Strait. The West Coast Highway runs right past our front gate, and beyond it stretch the tidal flats, oyster racks, and watermelon fields that have shaped life here for generations.
管嶼國小坐落於彰化西北角的濱海鄉鎮福興鄉，這裡的土地一路延伸，直到台灣海峽。西濱公路就從校門口前經過，公路的另一邊，是潮間帶、蚵架與西瓜田——世世代代形塑著這片土地的生活樣貌。
Founded in 1918, our school has taught the children of this farming-and-fishing community for more than a hundred years. We celebrated our centennial in 2017, and we carry that long history forward with a simple belief: a child raised by the sea deserves the same wide horizons as any child in the city.
學校創立於民國 7 年（1918），逾一百年來陪伴這片農漁聚落的孩子成長。我們在民國 106 年（2017）歡慶創校百年，並帶著這段悠長的校史向前走，秉持一個單純的信念：在海邊長大的孩子，值得擁有與都市孩子一樣寬廣的視野。

Facing the Taiwan Strait, with the West Coast Highway at our gate, Guanyu makes the coast itself our first classroom — and student road-safety our daily care.
