A small school among the farmland — where every learner is welcomed, encouraged, and known by name.
Guangxing Elementary began in February 1961 as a branch class of nearby Zhongzheng, and became an independent school in February 1968. It sits at the southern edge of Erlin Township, surrounded by sugarcane fields and farmland — the closest city is more than an hour away by car.
Because the school is small, every child is known. Here learning is not just lessons — it is full-day care, after-school clubs, field trips, and community partnerships from the local cheguzhen drum tradition to sugarcane research. Small classes; big care.
廣興國小於 民國 50 年（1961）2 月設立「中正國民學校廣興分班」，民國 57 年（1968）2 月獨立設校。校址位於二林鎮最南端的廣興里，周圍環繞著農田與甘蔗園——距最近的城市超過一小時車程。正因為學校小，每一個孩子都被認識。學習不只在課堂——更在全日照護、免費才藝課程、校外參訪與溝頭社區的車鼓陣與食農合作之中。班級雖小，照顧滿滿。
