On January 12, 2026, we held our 5th "Earth Oven and Safety Day." Students used their skills to build dirt ovens and cook food. Many special guests came to visit and played tug-of-war with us. It was a big party for everyone!
We learned about safety through fun games like puzzles and archery. We have a very funny saying: "Others take tests, we roast chickens!" We want to say a big thank you to all the teachers, parents, and volunteers. They helped make this day wonderful. Learning here is always a fun adventure!

115年1月16日，大莊國小迎來了第五年的「開春爌窯 × 防災闖關」盛事！孩子們發揮農村在地優勢，練習堆窯、燒窯、燜窯與開窯，展現熟練的小小職人精神。當天行政院中辦吳音寧副執行長等多位貴賓也親自到場，與大家一起體驗拔河比賽與防災對抗賽，讓校園充滿活力。
除了美味的土窯料理，防災闖關也讓大家玩得不亦樂乎，從積木拼圖到射箭比賽，讓安全知識變得簡單好記。誠如當天最亮眼的金句：「別人考試，我們烤雞！」感謝輔導室與志工、家長、行政團隊的全心付出，讓這次的開春活動圓滿成功，在大莊，學習就是這麼有趣！
