Dacheng Junior High formally established itself in 1964. The campus you see today — the ocean-themed buildings that began rising in 2009, the Living Water Pavilion library (2020), the solar photovoltaic outdoor court (2023) — is the cumulative work of generations of principals, teachers, and parents. Principal Chao Shih-Ying took office in August 2021 and has committed in this plan to continuing service until retirement in the 118 school year (2030). The plan below is what he intends to build, line by line, with the time he has.
大城國中正式成立於民國 52 年(1964),現今的海洋風建築始於 2009 年的校舍大整建,活水軒於 2020 年改建完成,戶外光電球場於 2023 年完工——這座校園是歷任校長、教師團隊與家長會共同累積的成果。趙士瑩校長於 2021 年 8 月接任,在本計畫中承諾任職至 118 學年度(2030)屆齡退休,下面的內容是他用接下來的時間,要逐條完成的事。

The school's curriculum vision rests on four pillars — Joy, Creativity, Responsibility, Gratitude — captured in the local phrase "Vibrant Cheng-Chung People" (城中 being a colloquial nickname for Dacheng's town centre). Each pillar carries three concrete habits.
大城國中課程願景以四個支柱為核心——快樂、創意、責任、感恩——統整於在地用語「活力城中人」。每一個支柱底下,是三項具體的習慣養成。

Three years ago, the township's enrollment rate at Dacheng Junior High was below 70%. Through the work of the whole staff, the rate climbed to 76% in the 113 school year. The plan sets a target of 86% by 118 — a two-point-per-year improvement that is ambitious but measurable.
