At Dacheng, bilingual life happens between the English lessons. It's the morning announcement that comes through the intercom in two languages. It's the homeroom teacher who says "line up, please" once a day. It's the office sign you read without thinking — and remember without studying.
在大城,雙語不是一堂課,而是課堂之外的日常。是早上廣播的雙語版本、是導師偶爾說一句 "line up, please"、是處室門牌不假思索就能讀懂的字。
This page brings together the two halves of that quiet bilingual layer — what teachers say in the classroom, and what the campus says back through the intercom. Both are produced with My Culture Connect 人師教育協會, and shared across Changhua's bilingual partner schools.
這一頁把日常雙語的兩半合在一起呈現——老師在課堂裡的英語,與校園透過廣播說回來的英語。兩者都由人師教育協會製作,並在彰化雙語夥伴校之間共用。
A practical video library covering the everyday English a Taiwanese teacher actually uses in the classroom: greetings and roll call, pre-class set-up, instructions, praise and correction, classroom management, lesson activities, assigning homework, wrapping up, and exam directions. Each video isolates one situation so the phrases stick on first hearing.
這個影片教材庫涵蓋臺灣老師每天會用到的課堂英語——問候點名、課前準備、講解、回饋讚美、糾正、教室管理、課堂活動、分派作業、課堂收尾、考試指令。每支影片只處理一個情境,第一次聽就能記住。
A 13-episode bilingual announcement series, organized by the four school offices: Academic Affairs (教務處), Student Affairs (學務處), General Affairs (總務處), and Counselling (輔導室). Each office introduces what it does, in both English and Chinese — turning the school's daily public-address routine into a real-world bilingual exposure for every student walking the corridors.
這是一個 13 集的雙語校園廣播系列,依四個處室分組:教務處、學務處、總務處、輔導室,由各組親自介紹自己的工作,雙語對照——把學校每天的廣播時間,變成全校學生在走廊上就能接收的英語浸潤。
A timetabled English period is necessary, but never sufficient. Real fluency takes hold when the language steps out of the textbook and into the everyday — the hallway, the broadcast, the teacher's natural voice. That is what Dacheng's bilingual campus is quietly building, one announcement and one classroom phrase at a time, in collaboration with My Culture Connect 人師教育協會.
