One Gear at a Time: The Gadget King Challenge

This year's Summer Fun Learning turned a classroom into a creativity lab, where the children took on the “Gadget King” course — a challenge full of thinking and making.

今年夏日樂學，我們將教室變成了創意實驗室，帶著孩子挑戰充滿思考與創造力的「機關王」課程。

From reading a plan and learning the parts, to building a structure and testing how it runs, every stage tested the children's observation, their logic, and their patience.

從閱讀圖面、認識零件，到組裝結構、測試運作，每一個環節都考驗著孩子的觀察力、邏輯力與耐心。

When a machine would not run, they did not rush to give up. They took it apart, fixed it, and built it again — finding answers inside their mistakes, and gathering experience inside the challenge.

當機關無法順利運作時，他們沒有急著放棄，而是一次次拆解、修正、再組裝，在失敗中找答案，在挑戰中累積經驗。

The future needs more than children who can solve problems. It needs learners who dare to explore, who are brave enough to try, and who are good at working together. This summer, every child became the “Gadget King” of their own learning journey.

未來需要的，不只是會解題的孩子，更是敢於探索、勇於嘗試、善於合作的學習者。這個夏天，我們讓每一位孩子都成為自己學習旅程中的「機關王」。
