When Principal Lin Jun-cheng walked through Zhongzheng's gate in August 2024, he became the tenth person to take that walk — the tenth hand on the school keys, in seventy years of village education in southern Erlin. His predecessor, Hsieh Hung-ta, had served four years before being reassigned to nearby Fenglun Elementary.
Zhongzheng's principalship has a long-standing thread: of its ten principals so far, three have served and then been transferred onward to Erlin Elementary — the mother school from which Zhongzheng itself was born in 1955. That quiet exchange of leadership between mother and daughter school is part of what makes southern Erlin's elementary education feel less like nine separate schools, and more like one large family network spread across nine villages.
2024 年 8 月，林畯城校長走進中正國小校門，成為這所七十年校史中的第十任校長——也就是七十年裡，第十雙握過中正鑰匙的手。前任謝鴻達校長服務四年後奉調至附近的豐崙國小。
中正的歷任校長有一條安靜的線索：在十任校長中，有三位（白茂榮、許委琳、陳福順）後續都奉調到了 二林國小 ——這正是 1955 年「中正」誕生的母校。母校與子校之間的人事交流，讓二林南境的小學教育，看起來不像九間獨立的學校，而是一個跨越九個村莊的大家族。

Under Principal Lin, Zhongzheng has continued its push into maker education and computational thinking — one tablet per student, regular Scratch and Microbit work, and partnership with the county's AI education trail. For a rural school in southern Erlin, that quiet commitment is how the city-village gap actually closes.

Every student account at Zhongzheng now carries free access to the National Library of Public Information's e-book collection — one of many quiet doors Principal Lin and his team have left open. Reading Step Changhua (讀步彰化), public-library e-books, and Kang Hsuan academic contests all run side by side.
在林校長任內，全校 EIP 帳號開放免費登入國立公共資訊圖書館電子書平台——這只是團隊默默為孩子留下的眾多「閱讀小門」之一。讀步彰化、公資圖電子書、康軒雲學力爭鋒賽，並肩進行。
Zhongzheng joins the Changhua Bilingual Train, links to Cool English on every page, and runs Hakka-language online classes. Principal Lin's bilingual vision includes the mother tongues of Zhongzheng's grandparents — not just English. A school that forgets the first language has only learned half of what bilingual means.
中正接入彰化雙語列車，每頁連結 Cool English，並開設客家語線上課程。林校長的「雙語」想像，從來不是只有英語——而是包括了爺爺奶奶的母語。一所遺忘了「第一語言」的雙語學校，對雙語的理解只走了一半。
