各位親愛的家長平安：
I am Lin Shu-chen, and I took up the post of principal at Yuanchyuan Elementary School on 1 August 2024.
我是林淑貞校長，自 113 年 8 月 1 日起接任源泉國小校長。
Over the years, under a succession of dedicated principals and with the strong help of the parents' association and the support of families, the children of Yuanchyuan have done wonderfully. This is a school with a fine culture of its own, and it has raised many people who now serve our country and society.
這幾年，源泉國小在多位前輩校長領導、家長會大力協助及家長支持之下，學生的表現讓人激賞。源泉國小擁有優質的校園文化，培育出眾多國家社會人才。
Our team cares deeply about the children's education, and works hard to bring in and pull together resources from every quarter — all so that our students can learn in a better environment. The children here are fortunate: our teachers' warmth for education guides them toward an all-round development — strong results in sport, a many-sided feel for music, and the steady shaping of good character.
源泉國小的學校團隊對學生的教育很用心，積極爭取並整合各界資源，只希望給予學生更好的教育環境。源泉國小的學生很幸福，因為有學校團隊的教育熱忱，引導著學生得到全人教育的發展：強健的體育績優表現、多才多藝的音樂素養、形塑學生良好品德發展。
I believe that with the school and every family working together, each of our students can enjoy a healthy body and mind, develop their own interests and potential, and paint their own patch of beautiful sky.
我相信，源泉國小在學校及各位家長共同努力之下，每個學生都能擁有健康的身心，發展自己潛能興趣，揮灑出自己一片美麗的天空。

A whole career in Changhua County schools — classroom, administration, and the principal's office.
一輩子深耕彰化縣基層教育，從教學現場、學校行政，到校長室。
Principal Lin began as a homeroom teacher at Huatan and then Nanzhen Elementary, spent eight years as Director of Educational Affairs at Dahu Elementary, and has since led three schools as principal — Yongguang (2008–2011), Santiao (2011–2018) and Qiaoyi Elementary (2018–2024) — before coming to Yuanchyuan in 2024. Every one of those schools is in Changhua County.
林校長從花壇國小、南鎮國小導師起步，於大湖國小擔任教導主任八年，之後歷任永光國小（97–100 學年度）、三條國小（100–107 學年度）與僑義國小（107–113 學年度）校長，113 學年度起接掌源泉國小。這一路走來，服務的都是彰化縣的學校。

Away from the paperwork, Principal Lin plays the saxophone, paints, reads, and picks up a table-tennis bat when she can. For a school with a Chinese-flute club and dance teams, it helps to have a principal who knows first-hand what it takes to keep at an instrument — and who still finds the joy in it.
放下公文，林校長喜歡吹薩克斯風、畫畫、閱讀，有空也打打桌球。在一所有中國笛社、有舞蹈隊的學校裡，有一位親身知道「把一項樂器練成」需要什麼、而且仍樂在其中的校長，是一件很好的事。
