Every Day at English Camp Is a New Adventure

Learning English doesn't have to mean sitting quietly at a desk — sometimes it happens best through laughter and play. This year's college-student-led English camp at Wunsiang began with lively icebreaker games, helping children take their first steps toward new friendships.

From there, students made their own alphabet cards by hand, learning uppercase and lowercase letters through a playful matching challenge that turned vocabulary practice into something to look forward to.

Learning happens best when it feels like play.

Mask painting brought its own kind of magic. As children learned about the cultural stories behind different masks, they picked up their brushes and let their imagination loose, each finishing a one-of-a-kind creation.

Beyond hands-on crafts and games, students also used tablets for digital English practice — listening, speaking, reading, and writing through interactive games — and bravely took on English certification challenges, building real confidence one small success at a time.

Learning doesn't only happen inside a textbook. When English is woven into games, art, technology, and teamwork, every smile, every English word spoken aloud, and every challenge completed becomes part of growing up.
