Right after the end of exams, Tuku's children set out on a warm journey back to their hometown roots (June 26). Students in grades 4–6 hopped on their bicycles, while grades 1–3 rode with teachers, heading in two groups to "Yi Pin Farm" — a local food and agriculture classroom right here in our township.
The more local we are, the more global we become.
Stepping into Yi Pin Farm's greenhouse, the air was filled with the sweet fragrance of melon. Children cradled the fruits with both hands, using all their senses to feel the wonder of life. Each child carefully picked their very own plump, sweet Meinong melon to take home and share with family. This was not just about picking technique — it was a life lesson in gratitude for the land that sustains us.
And this homegrown fragrance is the very wing that will carry our children into the world! In the future, the Tuku team will weave this moving harvest experience into international sister-school exchanges, guiding children to confidently use English Speaking skills to introduce the very best of Zhutang to friends from around the world. 期末考剛落幕，土庫囡仔踏上一場溫暖的家鄉之旅（6/26）。4-6年級的孩子踩著鐵馬、1-3年級坐上老師的車，分兩批前往咱鄉「一品農庄」食農教室。
走進一品農庄網室，空氣中瀰漫著香瓜 (Melon) 的清甜撲鼻而來。孩子們用雙手捧起果實、用感官感受生命，親手摘下那一顆專屬自己飽滿又香甜的美濃瓜，並細心包裝準備帶回家與您分享。這不只是採摘技巧，更是傳遞老師口中「仰賴土地為生」的感恩生命課。
