A Summer Food Journey: Sowing Seeds of Sustainability

This summer, Tsunshang partnered with the Daqiao Community to bring summer-camp students to the "Flower Tree Bank" — a journey full of care, wonder, and lessons in sustainability.

今年暑假，村上國小與大橋社區攜手合作，帶著暑期營的孩子們來到鄉內的「花樹銀行」，展開了一場充滿愛、驚奇與永續觀念的食農教育之旅。

Guide teacher Guo Jun-yin led an engaging ecology tour, weaving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into every stop. Under the shade of the trees, he pointed to a sign reading "Hua Tuo in the Tree" and told the story of how plants connect to health.

花樹銀行的靈魂人物郭俊銀老師，帶來精彩的生態解說，並將聯合國SDGs永續發展目標融入其中。在綠意盎然的樹林下，他指著「華佗在樹」的解說牌，用生動的故事說明植物與健康的關係。

Wide-eyed with curiosity, the children learned about local plants — and about the deeper meaning behind "saving up greenery, planting hope." In the classroom that followed, Teacher Guo introduced the nutritional value of moringa and discussed global hunger and nutrition (SDG 2: Zero Hunger), reminding students that cherishing food and choosing eco-friendly diets lets everyone do their part for the planet.

孩子們張大好奇的雙眼，不只認識了在地植物，更明白「存下綠意、播種希望」背後的深層意義。隨後在教室裡，郭老師拿出「辣木」的營養資料，與孩子們探討全球飢餓與營養不均的問題（SDGs 2：消除飢餓），強調珍惜食物、選擇友善環境飲食的重要。

Food-and-agriculture education is more than a lesson in a textbook — it's something felt in daily life. The children's focused expressions and shared joy of learning captured the beauty of community partnership and local roots.

食農教育不只是課本上的知識，更是生活中的體悟。看著孩子們專注的神情、共享學習的喜悅，正是「社區共好、在地深耕」最美的畫面。
