Welcoming Principal Chen: A Ceremony of Renewal

Tsunshang Elementary held its Incoming & Outgoing Principal Handover Ceremony today, welcoming new principal Chen Ying-chi and thanking outgoing principal Huang Hong-tian for his years of dedicated leadership — witnessed by teachers, students, parents, and honored guests from across the community.

村上國小今日舉行「新卸任校長交接典禮」，在全校師生、家長及各界貴賓的共同見證下，迎接新任陳瑩綺校長到任，也向卸任黃宏田校長致上最誠摯的感謝與祝福。

The ceremony opened with a lion dance for good fortune, the lions dancing all the way from the principal's office to bless the school's future. Principal Chen then walked the red carpet alongside honored guests, welcomed by rows of applauding students — one of whom presented her with a bouquet of flowers to mark her arrival at Tsunshang's warm, close-knit family.

典禮以「祥獅獻瑞迎校長」揭開序幕，舞獅隊從校長室起舞，象徵校務一切順利；瑩綺校長沿著紅地毯步入會場，由學生列隊歡迎並獻上花束，正式踏入村上國小這個溫暖的大家庭。

A rousing taiko drum performance showed off the energy and spirit of Tsunshang's students, followed by remarks from honored guests — township officials, the parents' association, and alumni representatives — each offering blessings for the road ahead.

典禮中安排太鼓表演，展現村上孩子的活力與熱情；隨後邀請長官、鄉長、家長會及校友代表致詞，共同送上祝福與期許。

Outgoing Principal Huang led the school through years of steady growth, leaving behind a legacy the community is deeply grateful for. Principal Chen now carries that legacy forward, guiding Tsunshang under a vision of innovation, excellence, vitality, humanity, sustainability, and health — building a school full of learning, care, and hope.

卸任宏田校長任內帶領學校穩健發展，留下珍貴的教育足跡；瑩綺校長接棒後，將以「創新、卓越、活力、人文、永續、健康」為教育願景，打造充滿學習熱情、關懷與希望的幸福校園。

The ceremony closed with a joyful group photo — a reminder that a handover is not just a change of office, but the passing of a shared mission forward.
