Set Sail with AI: A Welcome for the New Year

The new school year has begun, and Taiping Elementary welcomed its first-graders with a celebration full of technology and warmth: “Set Sail with AI · Happy Taiping — big hands holding small hands, chasing dreams together, GO!”

新學期開始，太平國小以充滿科技感與幸福感的「AI 啟航‧幸福太平——大手牽小手，夢想一起 GO！」，熱情迎接一年級新生。

The biggest surprise of the day came from the sky. A drone rose over the campus to greet the new students — a sign that Taiping is setting sail with technology and leading its children into a brand-new journey of learning. As the drone flew across the campus and seemed to wave hello, the field filled with gasps and laughter, and the new children had a first day they will not forget.

活動一開始最令人驚喜的亮點，就是由無人機翱翔上空迎接新生的到來！無人機象徵太平國小以科技啟航，帶領孩子迎向嶄新的學習旅程。當無人機飛越校園、與孩子們揮手相見時，現場充滿驚喜與歡笑，也為新生留下難忘的入學第一天。

From a welcome at the school gate, the morning moved through five stations and a string of activities — the Wisdom Drum, the lion-dance energy point, “Leap into the Future”, “A Wish from the Heart”, story time and a bilingual welcome — along with the tender “Socks of Love” ritual and a Grandparents’ Day tribute, so that every child could feel the warmth of the Taiping family.

迎新從校門口的相見歡揭開序幕，透過熱鬧的迎新活動與五項關卡——「一鳴驚人智慧鼓、獅拿九穩活力點、躍入未來百分百、心之祈願幸福愛、樂學溫馨太平情」，以及「故事啟程夢飛揚」「雙語國際喜迎新」，再加上溫馨的「孝襪傳愛」與「祖父母節表揚」，讓孩子在歡笑中感受太平大家庭的熱情與幸福。

Sixth-graders became kind little helpers, walking the first-graders through each station and around the campus; parents and grandparents joined the talk and the tribute, a picture of “big hands holding small hands, learning across the generations.”

活動中，六年級學長姐化身暖心小幫手，陪伴一年級新生闖關、認識校園；家長與祖父母也共同參與座談與表揚，展現「大手牽小手、世代共學習」的美好畫面。

The journey has officially set sail. Taiping Elementary will keep bringing together AI, creative learning and warm care, walking beside every child so they can explore bravely, spread their wings and make their dreams come true.

新的學習旅程正式啟航！太平國小將持續結合 AI 科技、創新學習與溫暖關懷，陪伴每一位孩子快樂成長，讓孩子在幸福校園中勇敢探索、展翅飛翔、實現夢想！
