Welcome to Tai-He. Our school is a hundred and five years old, but every September a new class of first-graders arrives with their own questions, their own hopes, and their own quiet courage. Our job is the same job principals before me have done: to make sure each of those children grows up deeply confident — in themselves, in their words, and in their place in the world.

歡迎來到泰和。我們是百年老校,但每年九月,總有一群帶著自己的問題、自己的期待、自己的勇氣的一年級孩子來報到。我和前面 17 位校長一樣,要做的事都一樣——讓每一位孩子都長成一個對自己有信心、對世界有理解的人。

That is why we believe in holding mother tongue, English, and the world in the same hand. Why every English class has a Foreign English Teacher. Why we treat reading, music, art, and sport as essential, not as extras. The eight principles below shape how we run this school day to day.

這也是為什麼我們強調:母語、英文、世界,三者在同一隻手裡握著;為什麼每一堂英文課都有外師駐校;為什麼閱讀、音樂、美術、體育——我們從不視為附屬,而是每個孩子應有的學習日常。以下八大主軸,是泰和每天怎麼運作的底色。
