A century-old elementary school in the heart of Changhua City — bilingual by design, international at heart.
Welcome to Tai-He Elementary School. We trace our roots to 1921, when this neighbourhood was still called "Ah-i" and our first classroom was a single satellite room of Dazhu Public School. In 1969 we took the name Tai-He — and a century on, we are still right here, on Taihe Road, teaching the children of east-southern Changhua City.
泰和的起點要回到 1921 年——當時這一帶還叫「阿夷」，我們只是大竹公學校的一間阿夷分離教室。1969 年改名「泰和」，一個世紀過去了，泰和路二段這個地址，安安靜靜地教過彰化市東南郊一代又一代的孩子。
Tai-He is a regional school for east-southern Changhua City — with our own swim pool (grades 3–6 swim every week) and a central kitchen that prepares daily meals for three sister schools. In every English class — alongside our local teachers — there is a Foreign English Teacher, helping the world walk straight into our classrooms.
泰和是彰化市東南郊的區域型學校——有自己的游泳館（三到六年級每週都在校內游泳）、有中央廚房（每天為泰和、中山、民生三校供應營養午餐）。而每一堂英語課，本校老師旁邊都會多一位外籍英語老師——這是我們把世界帶進教室的方式。
