Class 6A set out on a special field-study day. In the morning they visited Macuo Elementary School to try kayaking. Starting with the equipment and safety rules, students learned step by step how to paddle, turn and bring their kayaks in to dock, then took on a speed race and an underwater treasure hunt — pushing past their limits, building confidence and working as a team, with plenty of laughter along the way.
六年甲班展開特色遊學活動，上午前往媽厝國小體驗水上輕艇。學生從認識裝備與安全守則開始，逐步學習划行、轉彎及停靠技巧，並透過競速挑戰與水中尋寶活動，在歡笑中突破自我、培養自信與團隊合作精神。
In the afternoon, the class moved on to the Dongluo River Ecological Education Park. Guides introduced this important river of the Changhua plain and the life along its banks, and through hands-on habitat restoration and crafts, students came to see why protecting nature and the land matters — and turned their love for the environment into action.
下午，師生轉往東螺溪生態教育園區，在導覽人員帶領下認識彰化平原的重要河川與流域生態，並透過生態復育實作及手作體驗，深入了解自然環境與土地保育的重要性，將愛護環境的理念落實於行動。
From challenges on the water to quiet observation by the river, the children gained so much from a day of both action and reflection. SingHua thanks Macuo Elementary School and the Dongluo River ecology team for their careful planning and expert guidance, which let our students step outside the classroom, get close to nature, and learn and grow through real experience.
