About Our School
National Sihu Senior High School stands at the geographic centre of Changhua County on a campus of just over five hectares. It was planned from the start as a comprehensive senior high school: students in Grade 10 share a common curriculum, then choose one of five programmes from Grade 11 — a design that gives students in southern Changhua a genuine third option alongside the region's academic and vocational high schools.
本校地處彰化縣地理中心，佔地五公頃餘，規劃之初即以綜合高中學制推動：高一為共同課程，高二起依性向分流。本校綜合高中與彰南區內其他普通型高中、技術型高中形成三元學制鼎立之勢，提供社區學子更多元的選擇。
The school is student-centred by design. Through ample exploration, students are guided to plan their own path, develop according to their aptitude, unlock their potential and find the pleasure in learning.
學制設計強調以學生為本位，透過充分的試探過程，引導學生做好人生規劃，協助學生適性發展，激發自我潛能，享受學習樂趣，完成自我實現的教育理想。
- 1995The provincial education department approves the founding of a senior high school in Sihu.民國 84 年 3 月 6 日，教育廳同意設立溪湖高中。
- 1996The preparatory office for Taiwan Provincial Sihu Senior High School opens.民國 85 年 2 月 1 日，奉准成立「省立溪湖高級中學籌備處」。
- 1997Ground is broken for the new campus buildings.民國 86 年 4 月，舉行校舍新建動土典禮。
- 1998The school formally opens. Founding principal Tai Ming-kuo sets the motto — Filial Piety, Respect, Diligence, Simplicity — and creates the crest that stands for the comprehensive-high-school spirit.民國 87 年 7 月 1 日「省立溪湖高級中學」正式成立，首任校長戴明國訂定「孝、敬、勤、樸」校訓及象徵綜合高中精神之校徽。
- 2000The school becomes National Sihu Senior High School.民國 89 年 2 月 1 日，奉核改制為「國立溪湖高級中學」。
- 2018Foreign English teachers join the school; every Grade 11 class takes listening with a native-speaking teacher.107 學年度起申辦教育部引進英語外籍教師計畫，全校高二英聽課程由外師授課。
- 2019Sihu joins the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association's Japanese partner programme, bringing a Japanese partner onto campus.108 學年度參與日本台灣交流協會「日語合作夥伴派遣計畫」，引進日籍合作夥伴。
- 2020The Carpe diem wall goes up, inviting students to seize the day and leave their mark on the school's record.109 學年度建置 Carpe diem 標竿學習牆，激勵學生把握當下，留下校史紀錄。
- 2022Li Ming-chao becomes the school's eighth principal.民國 111 年 8 月，李明昭校長接任第八任校長。
